Background and Current Research

Shivanshu’s current research focuses on evaluating the implementation of the Mohalla Bus (DEVI Bus) scheme in Delhi, with an emphasis on analyzing spatio-temporal travel patterns to highlight areas with unmet bus connectivity. He is assessing the scheme's impact in terms of mode shift, accessibility, user satisfaction, and equity.

Previously, as a road safety consultant, he contributed to several safety audit projects across Delhi and led design interventions for improving urban junctions. He has also worked on electric mobility initiatives, including planning and design support for electric bus operations. His involvement in route planning for the Mohalla Bus scheme reflects his interest in combining architectural expertise with data-driven approaches in sustainable urban transport and road safety.
