Manoj Kumar is a professional practitioner currently serving with the Delhi Police, where he is engaged in traffic management, enforcement, and road safety initiatives. With extensive field-level experience, he has been actively involved in addressing urban mobility challenges, traffic regulation, and enforcement strategies in one of India’s most complex metropolitan environments. His professional work provides first-hand insights into patterns of road user behaviour, enforcement gaps, and the operational challenges of ensuring compliance in high-density, heterogeneous traffic conditions.

In addition to his professional duties, Manoj Kumar’s research interests focus on road safety analysis, traffic enforcement effectiveness, and the integration of socio-behavioural and infrastructural factors in urban transport systems. His work emphasizes the identification of weak enforcement zones, the role of public perception in shaping compliance, and the application of GIS and statistical tools to understand spatial variations in crash risks. By combining practical enforcement experience with academic inquiry, he aims to contribute towards developing context-specific, data-driven strategies for improving traffic regulation and reducing crash risks in Delhi.
