Background and Current Research

The aim of her research is to understand the perception of road users towards bicycling and to explore the factors influencing the safety of bicycle riders. The process includes mapping of bicycle crash hotspots and understanding of the factors associated with bicycle crash in high-risk areas. User perception regarding bicycle mode choice and bicycle crashes will also be explored. The idea is to understand the risk and suggest suitable measures to mitigate the risk and make urban roads safer for bicycling.

She has work experience of 1.75 years with Shapoorji Pallonji & Company Private Limited.
