Background and Research:

Sushil's research aims to investigate the state-of-the-art injury criteria and tolerance levels for FE head models at different boundary conditions. In collaboration with AIIMS New Delhi, analyzing the efficacy of the subject-specific FE head models rather than the 50th percentile FE head model for TBI prediction. This analysis will provide a deeper insight into the biomechanics of TBI for the Indian population and will be further helpful in designing and developing safety equipment/guidelines for injury prevention in RTA.
