Background and Research:

Huzair’s research focuses on understanding the patterns and contributing factors of road traffic crashes in South Delhi, with an emphasis on comparing fatal and non-fatal incidents near bus stops. Using police FIR data and CCTV footage, he analyzes spatial hotspots and evaluates crash risk across road segments. He examines how conditions around bus stops contribute to crash frequency and severity.

He also worked at TRIP-Centre as a research associate and was involved in the project “Road Safety Inspection and Discussion of Identified Blackspots” funded by the Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department (UPPWD), Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. His work revolved around conducting data collection on-site, data sampling, data analysis, and report preparation.
